Porto, located in the northern region of Portugal, is a charming city known for its historic architecture, colorful buildings, and the famous Porto wine cellars along the Douro River. Visitors can explore the Ribeira district, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its narrow streets and picturesque squares. Porto is also home to iconic landmarks such as the Clerigos Tower and the Livraria Lello bookstore, said to have inspired J.K. Rowling in her creation of Harry Potter. With a vibrant food scene and friendly locals, Porto offers a laid-back atmosphere perfect for leisurely strolls along the river or enjoying a meal at one of the many outdoor cafes.
Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and vibrant culture. From the historic neighborhoods of Alfama and Bairro Alto to the modern architecture of Parque das Nações, Lisbon offers a mix of old-world charm and contemporary flair. Visitors can explore iconic sites such as the Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, and Castelo de Sao Jorge, while also enjoying the city's famous pastel de nata pastries and fresh seafood. Just a short drive from Lisbon is Fatima, a religious pilgrimage site known for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, where millions of Catholic pilgrims flock each year to pay their respects and witness the mystical atmosphere of this sacred place.
Departure from our bus terminal at 8:00 a.m. towards
Salamanca, an ancient and monumental university city.
Free time to stroll through the historic centre and dis-
cover its famous Baroque-style Plaza Mayor. We then
continue to Porto. Accommodations
Breakfast. Panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, a city
declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including
the cathedral, the Stock Exchange, and the Church of
Santa Clara, ending with a visit to a local wine cellar to
taste the world-renowned “Port wine.” Rest of the day
at leisure. Accommodations.
Breakfast and departure to Coimbra, home to one
of the oldest universities in Europe and birthplace of
fado. Free time. We continue to Fátima, an important
pilgrimage centre. Free time to visit the Basilica and
Sanctuary. Afterwards, we proceed to Lisbon, the capital
of Portugal. Accommodations. In the evening, option
to attend a traditional fado performance
Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic tour of this beau-
tiful city, located at the mouth of the Tagus River: Park
Viewpoint, Edward VII Square, Rossio Square, Liberdade
Avenue, Madragoa District (where Fado, the traditional
Portugues music was born). We continue on to the Belem
District to see the famous Tower, Monument to the
Discoveries and the Jerónimos Monastery. Afternoon
Breakfast. Departure towards the Spanish border to
arrive in Merida. Free time to explore its impressive
archaeological complex, featuring the Roman Theatre
and Amphitheatre, both declared UNESCO World Heri-
tage Sites. Lunch at leisure. Afterwards, we continue our
